We aim leave space within our programme for the church to become involved in local clubs and activities. We encourage everyone to consider teaming up with others in the church who have similar interests and doing something they enjoy doing with others from the wider community. This doesn’t have to be on that particular week and may happen more regularly.
The aim is to create a bit of space in the diary and to be a bit more intentional about building relationships in the wider community with those who share similar interests.
By not meeting weekly as Connect Groups we aim to create plenty of space for the church to become involved in local clubs and activities. Whether it’s pub quizzes or five-a-side we want to be in and amongst the wider community building bridges as we do things we enjoy doing.
We have small groups involved in mountain biking, pub quizzes, playing tennis, climbing and fishing. You can find out more details about what’s happening and who to contact on our ‘Club Week’ noticeboard in the main church hall.
